10 Jan Mission of the Month: January 2021
The mission of the month for January 2021 is the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.
This designated fund enables the pastor to distribute emergency financial aid to our church members and is needed more than ever right now.
Many of us have experienced unexpected car/home repairs, large medical bills, or unusually high utility costs. That is why our Grace family is so thankful to have this pastoral discretionary fund. That’s why when one of our own has financial difficulty, the money from the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund helps, but it must have money available. Please prayerfully consider if you are able help with this wonderful mission of the month and know you’re helping our own Grace Family when they need it most.
Grace has established a policy for the procedure on how this fund is disbursed. When a person requires help s/he approaches the pastor with the request. The person requesting gives the pastor the documentation which is submitted with a check request. Any identifiable information is deleted to keep it anonymous. The receiver can reimburse the discretionary fund, if able, but it is not required.
