Why Grace?

At Grace UCC of O’Fallon the phrase “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here,” comes to life. We are a group of open and accepting people who come together “To know Christ and make him known to others.” We have a variety of spiritual gifts and share them within our church and community. Our members choose events and involvement based on their needs, skills, and talents. The Grace family welcomes everyone with open arms and a kind heart as we strive to guide, join, help and encourage each other on life’s journey. To this end, God has called us to make a public covenant so that it was more clear how we accept others on their life journey.

Grace United Church of Christ strives to be an Open and Affirming Christian community that welcomes and affirms all people in all ways. It is a place where love binds us together in the tapestry of life. We affirm our Still-Speaking God ministering to and with all of God’s children, including all ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and differing abilities.
